Double Helix Speaker
ISU's department of life sciences and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods' department of science and mathematics will co-sponsoring the first annual "Double Helix" speaker Tuesday afternoon.
Loren Rieseberg, professor of biology at Indiana University-Bloomington, will give a 45-minute presentation titled "Plant Species and Speciation."
Through his presentation, Rieseberg said he will provide evidence that plant species are "discrete, objective entities that represent reproductively independent lineages or 'units of evolution.'"
